Scala Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Scala Technologies”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website scala-technologies.com and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information.

By using our website or contacting us through any channel, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Contact & project inquiries: name, email address, company name, message content, and any files you voluntarily upload when submitting a project inquiry or job application.
Newsletter subscriptions: email address when you subscribe to our newsletter.
Communications: records of any correspondence if you contact us directly by email or phone.

Information collected automatically:

Log data: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time spent, referring URLs, and device type.
Cookies and similar tracking technologies: see Section 6 for details.

Respond to your project inquiries, questions, and support requests.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business, including:

Sanity: our headless CMS, used to store project inquiry and job application data.
Resend: our transactional email provider, used to send notification emails triggered by form submissions.
Vercel: our hosting and infrastructure provider. Vercel may process log data as part of serving requests.

Each provider is contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it for the purposes for which we disclose it to them. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Scala Technologies, our clients, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected:

Project inquiry and contact form data: retained for up to 2 years to allow us to follow up and maintain business records.
Job application data: retained for 6 months from the date of submission, after which it is permanently deleted unless you have been engaged for a role.
Newsletter subscription data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Server log data: retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes.

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
